Below you will find links to the books required for your math class for the 2021-2022 school year. Each class has its own "box" of required books, so be sure you are looking at the correct class before you make any purchases. Consistent with the philosophy of the Common Core State Standards and Standards for Mathematical Practice, the Big Ideas Math Student Edition provides students with diverse opportunities to develop problem-solving and communication skills through deductive reasoning and exploration. Students gain a deeper understanding of math concepts by narrowing their focus to fewer topics at each grade level. Students master content through inductive reasoning opportunities, engaging activites that provide deeper understanding, concise, stepped-out examples, rich, thought-provoking exercises, and a continual building on what has previously been taught.

7th Pre-Algebra

For the first half of the year, students will continue to use the Advanced 1 textbook and for the second half of the year students will NOT need to purchase anything online. A web code will be given at the start of class for the online version by their teacher, and their school account will be charged approximately $14 for it. There will also be hard classroom copies available.

7th & 8th Grade Algebra

No book purchase required. However, if you would like a textbook as an OPTIONAL reference, the class will follow the Big Ideas curriculum:

8th Grade Geometry

The school will obtain and distribute the workbook and online resources for approximately $36 total and will bill student accounts. There is no hardcover textbook for Geometry.
